"Psalm 133" was premiered under the direction of Dr. André Thomas in 2006 by the Tallahassee Community Chorus, the Florida State University Singers and the Florida A&M University Concert Choir as the opening combined selection of the first annual "Unity" concert in Tallahassee, FL. This short Psalm setting has been successfully programed with middle school, high school, college/university, community and church choirs because of its accessibility and message of unity.
Text for "Psalm 133"
1. How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!
2. It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes.
(How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!)
3. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
(How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!)
